A successful burning operation is holding the fire north of the M-4 road. IR flight is scheduled for tonight. Fire suppression rehabilitation planning has been initiated as well as demobilization planning.

Fire movement to the south with the perimeter extending to Davies Orchard and crossing the Mud Flat road. The Whiskey Fire is approaching, but remains north of road M-4. Assigned resources made good progress constructing and holding lines in Divisions A, B and Y including burning out much of the Mud Flat road.
Weather prediction for the night shift is for stronger winds down valley with gusts to 30 miles per hour, continued warm and dry with an overnight low temperature of 71 degrees and a maximum relative humidity of 25%.
